Sorry to not update this in so long. It's been a long time...and maybe that is because I felt no need to update no change. Or what I thought was no change. The kids are ALWAYS changing...it's me that's been stuck in a rut. I am trying to get to know my heart these days and it really hurts to dig down deep and try to find ME! I won't get into detail because that is for my personal journal. I just know that I am very glad to have my three anchors. They keep me grounded and willing to push on no matter why or what the reason.

More fun at Bear Lake 2009

Aaron loves to swim...he is a lil fish.
Just relaxing in the sun...while the kids (and Roger) play in the cold pool.
Kyle ---- oh, I love that smile!
Ready, set, jump! Aaron loved to jump in - loved to jump in even more when he had pictures taken that he could see how it looked when he was jumping in.
Wahoo!!!

Bear Lake 2009

Beau, Roger and Tiffany hoping for some fun in the sun... Beautiful Bear Lake...one of my favorite summer spots!
Even with the cooler temperatures...that did not stop the kids from enjoying the pool again and again and then again!
Burr...it had to be 75 degrees and the pool was not heated ....
We took advantage of the craft store and the kids made wood animals and aaron colored his own shirt.

Headed for Bear Lake

When we set out for Bear Lake it was sunny for the first time in 2 weeks. So we took pictures of the sunshine in case it went away. (and it did go away...) We stopped in Logan at Artic Circle. The kids were antsy to just get to the lake. Yummy food... Kyle really liked the Logan Temple. So we slowed down and took a quick picture as we headed onward to Bear Lake.
Finally...the lake is in view!!! Let the jumping up and down commence! (amber, coby, aaron, leslie, zach, kyle and beau.)

New Hair and Soccer

Amber played soccer with Lehi City Rec and had a good time. She has started to love anything soccer...she tried out for the Lehi Arsenal/Strikers and with Roger coaching she nearly has a team...they just need a few more girls.
My friend and co-worker Jessi, is a hair dresser...she likes to "have her way" with my hair. She has always done a great job, so I let her play with it again this time...she went RED! It has faded a bit now...but it's been a fun change.

Goooo....Real SALT LAKE!!!

Me and the kids went to a sold out Real Salt Lake game! Before the game they had parachuters dropped in over the stadium. They came in carrying the flags. Then we had a fly over by some huge military aircraft!! It flew over so low we were all in awe! We came dressed to cheer for our team. Go Real Salt Lake!
It was a fun night that ended with David Archuleta preforming. That lil guy can sing...and he's pretty cute too. (the kids say he is my illegal hottie..because he is too young for me.)

DisneyLand 2009

The kids liked the California Adventure Park Best

DisneyLand 2009

Into the Matterhorn (spell?) we go!!!!
Matt, Aaron, Amber, Jason, and Kyle - ready to storm the castle!
Kyle and Jason are good buddies.
Buzz Lightyear!!
boy, we were all soooo excited for the Small World ride!!

DisneyLand 2009

We made our first trip to Disneyland over spring break. I had not been since I was 8 or 9 years old, so it felt like a first to me too. The kids were excited for the rides. Amber has never been a roller coaster fan, but she turned into one on this trip. It made for a great time to have everyone ride all the rides. Even grandma and grandpa rode the rides!!
Aaron, Amber and Matt - 3 wild red heads!
Here we go....
Amber, Kyle and Aaron waiting to ride the most exciting ride - "it's a small world". Aaron could not believe that we had to wait so long for such a dumb ride. It was a nice, relaxing ride...I thought.

Clear Creek fun!

Fun in the snow with a group of giggly girls! One of the parents built an igloo while we playing in the snow. Amazing how fast he built this! The girls took turns posing for pictures inside.
We were very tired each night. And the beds were lacking in comfort!!
